My family immigrated from poland before the war and I am wondering if we may be related. I don't know much about the genology but I would really like to. My grandfather was a Jewish Stern who changed his name to Starr to pursue a boxing title. He was from poland and came from a family that used to sell plumbing supplies I believe. I may be able to find out more from a cousin if you think we may be related. They immigrated to coburg ontario canada.
